We chatted with Caitlin Davis, director of software engineering at Invoca about her team and experiences. Here’s what Caitlin loves about working at Invoca:
What do you do at Invoca (what are your title, team, and big responsibilities)?
I am the Director of Software Engineering. I lead two development teams, which involves collaborating with the product managers to plan and prioritize the features the teams will work on, and then providing context and removing obstacles to allow everyone on the team to do their best technical work.
What brought you to Invoca?
I had worked with Mike Weaver, our VP of Engineering, at a previous company. He reached out to me and convinced me of Invoca’s leadership, both in the call tracking and analytics space, but also within the engineering org itself. The maturity of the product and of the engineering methodologies and technology made it an exciting place for me to take the next step in my career.
What’s your favorite Invoca company event?
I love the bi-annual company kickoff event that we have each February and August. Everyone travels to Santa Barbara for the week, and the connection and alignment that comes out of the event is incredibly valuable.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I am a professional tap dancer. When I’m not working, you’ll find me rehearsing or performing around town with a local tap company.
